Commissioner pursued for unpaid bills
A credit-card company is pursuing City Commissioner James L. Exline for $37,295 in unpaid bills, court records show. MBNA America Bank has sued Exline in Palm Beach Circuit Court, seeking payment of the credit-card charges that the bank said it was awarded a year ago in arbitration proceedings. The bank's lawsuit contends that Exline did not object to the award, but didn't pay it either. The bank added that multiple attempts to contact him were unsuccessful.
